Everyone is welcome to worship with us without any formal involvement. However, the biblical pattern for Christian living is one of mutual accountability and support for one another. If you consider Emmanuel to be your church, we would encourage you to become a member. In formally identifying with us, our spiritual care for you will become our responsibility, and vice versa.

At Emmanuel, our members commit to one another and the fellowship of the church in love and a shared desire to glorify God. We do that by making the promises set out in our Church Covenant; affirming the Statement of Faith to be a true summary of biblical Christianity; and accepting the church’s Fellowship Guide as our statement of polity and practice.

If you would like to become a member, the first step is to speak to one of the elders. They will arrange to meet with you, to hear your testimony and discuss membership in more detail.
